Pat Gelsinger

Chief Executive Officer, VMware
 

Pat Gelsinger has been serving as CEO of VMware since September 2012, nearly doubling the size of the company during his tenure. He brings more than 35 years of technology and leadership experience.

Before joining VMware, Gelsinger led EMC's Information Infrastructure Products business as president and COO. A respected IT industry veteran, he was at Intel for 30 years becoming the company’s first CTO and driving the creation of key industry technologies including USB and Wi-Fi. He led Intel to be the dominant supplier of the microprocessor – while in the significant role as the architect of the original 80486 processor.

Ross Brown

Senior Vice President, Strategic Corporate Alliances, VMware
 

Ross Brown is focused on helping our partners integrate VMware technology and our unique vision for the Software Defined Data Center into their services and solutions. Prior to joining VMware, he was a founder and Senior Principal for the Spur Group, a leading revenue-side consulting firm.

In past roles, Brown has served as the VP of WW Partner Strategy for Microsoft, as well as VP of WW Channels and Sales Operations for Citrix systems, as well as sales and channel leadership roles at IBM, McAfee, Tech Data and MicroAge. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Organizational Communication and lives in Seattle with his wife, two young daughters and two adult sons.

 

 


Brandon Sweeney

Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Operations, Dell Execution Team, VMware
 

Brandon Sweeney is VMware’s Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Operations for the newly formed Dell Execution Team (DET). The DET is responsible for driving Dell global bookings across VMware’s Global, Enterprise, Commercial and Public Sector customers.

Brandon owns the overall business operations and the GTM P&L across all Dell dedicated resources. In addition, Brandon provides functional leadership and guidance to the VMware Commercial Segments in the Americas, APJ and EMEA which represent 1.5B+ in annual bookings. Previously, Brandon built and ran the North America Commercial, Inside, Partner and Service Provider businesses.
