Pat Gelsinger Pat Gelsinger
CEO, VMware

Pat Gelsinger joined VMware in September 2012 and serves as the company’s chief executive officer. Before VMware, Gelsinger led EMC's Information Infrastructure Products business as president and chief operating officer, overseeing engineering and operations for information storage, data computing, backup and recovery, RSA security and enterprise solutions as well as the office of the CTO.

Prior to EMC, Gelsinger spent 30 years in numerous technical, management and executive roles at Intel, where he began his career. He led Intel's Digital Enterprise Group, the company's largest business unit and was responsible for enterprise products including the Xeon and Itanium processors. He also led the Desktop Products Group responsible for desktop processors, chipsets and motherboards for consumer and commercial customers. Gelsinger was Intel's first chief technology officer, and as the head of Intel Labs he led many of the company's research initiatives. He was also the architect of the original 80486 processor and a design engineer on the 80386 and 80286 processor design teams. See full bio

Ross Brown Ross Brown
SVP of Worldwide Partners and Alliances

Brown serves as the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Partners and Alliances for VMware, helping our partners integrate VMware technology and our unique vision for the Software Defined Data Center into their services and solutions.

Prior to joining VMware, Brown was a founder and Senior Principal for the Spur Group, a leading revenue-side consulting firm. In past roles, Brown has served as the VP of WW Partner Strategy for Microsoft, as well as VP of WW Channels and Sales Operations for Citrix systems, as well as sales and channel leadership roles at IBM, McAfee, Tech Data and MicroAge. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Organizational Communication and lives in Seattle with his wife, two young daughters and two adult sons.

Raghu Raghuram Raghu Raghuram
EVP and GM, Software-Defined Data Center

Raghu Raghuram joined VMware in 2003 and co-leads the company's Software-Defined Data Center Division comprising the vSphere, networking, management and storage businesses. With more than 20 years of technology experience, Raghuram is responsible for the division’s strategy, business and product planning and engineering execution. He is also key to driving the overall strategic direction for VMware.

During his tenure at VMware, Raghuram has held multiple leadership roles, most recently leading the company’s cloud infrastructure and management business as the general manager. Prior to that he led worldwide product marketing, product management and business planning for VMware's virtual infrastructure. Raghuram began his career at VMware running product management for ESX and vSphere. See full bio

Maurizio Carli Maurizio Carli
EVP, Worldwide Sales

Maurizio Carli joined VMware in December 2008 and is responsible for worldwide sales as well as pre-and post-sales engineering, and all worldwide channels. Most recently, Carli served as the corporate senior vice president and general manager of the Americas region to drive growth and oversee strategic planning, business operations and the management of key functions including sales, channels, services and marketing. Prior to the Americas role, Carli spent seven successful years leading the VMware
EMEA region.

Carli brings nearly 30 years of IT industry experience. Prior to VMware, Carli spent five years at Business Objects, where as senior vice president and general manager, EMEA, he was responsible for sales, pre-sales, marketing, finance, customer support and global services. Until 2002, Carli spent 19 years at IBM, most recently as vice president of Software for IBM EMEA. Overseeing a 5,000-strong division, he led IBM's software portfolio in the region including sales, marketing, technical support, finance and human resources. See full bio

Sumit Dhawan Sumit Dhawan
SVP & GM, Desktop & Workspace ONE

Sumit Dhawan is Senior Vice President and General Manager of VMware’s End-User Computing desktop business. He leads product development, product management, GTM strategy for VMware’s complete Desktop Cloud Services portfolio (Horizon), Application Lifecycle Management solutions (App Volumes), and integrated solutions strategy to deliver the Digital Workspace (Workspace ONE).

In just two years at VMware, he helped grow the End-User Computing business >$1B in revenue, the Desktop product portfolio being the most significant contributor to that growth. He is leading the biggest strategic shift in the EUC technology strategy, from delivering traditional on-premises to desktop and applications cloud services solutions. He is also overseeing the integration of EUC’s Desktop, Mobile, Identity, and Productivity Application portfolios into the industry’s first consumer simple, enterprise secure Digital Workspace solution, Workspace ONE.

SDDC Assessment-Led Selling Showcase (located in the Partner Exchange Lounge):
