Pricing...

Are we in the less then 500.00 US for a license for a SPARC to Solaris X86, I don't see any pricing for a single unit, but was wondering what general price range is this product in.

Re: Pricing...

QuickTransit pricing starts at $875 for the Workstation version of the product, which is used when customers wish to run Solaris/SPARC applications on a laptop or desktop, to avoid having to make a connection to the application running on a Sun server. The Server version of QuickTransit is targeted at enterprise datacenter deployments, and is priced at $1750 per populated processor socket, using a similar pricing model to VMware ESX. There is no incremental charge when dual-core or quad-core processors are used.

Customers can download an evaluation version of QuickTransit free of charge from the Transitive Web site at:

This is a full version of QuickTransit with an evaluation license key that lasts for 30 days.
