Setting up a VM WareWorkstation 6 lab

Just a quick query, have windows 2003 server virtual machine, want to know how i can setup active directory on it , (know how to do all this when dealling outside a virtual lab, dcpromo etc, its just unsure about tcp ip settings, gateway, dns addresses etc)(have it set to a bridged network) which tcp ip settings can i use? unsure of this , have broadband connection with a Netpoia\Mototorla 2247 NGW router, any advice appreciated, would be pretty new to VMWARE..

Re: Setting up a VM WareWorkstation 6 lab

It might be a good start to post your system and it's configuration:

Is your Windows 2003 VM running on top of Windows or Linux? Would this be the PDC on the network or a BDC? Some more information about what you plan to do would be helpful. Also, are you using bridged networking or NAT through your Host machine? Bridged would probably be best in this case.

Is your question about Vmware or about setting up Windows server?
