Exporting and Importing Networking Configuration

Hi,

I am in the process of adding more ESX servers into my cluster and am wondering if there is a way to export the networking configuration from one of my ESX servers that is already configured and import it onto my new ESX servers.

Does anyone know if there is a command line tool I could use to do this?

Thanks!

For the vlan / portgroup setup there's a tool: http://www.run-virtual.com/?p=159

Re: Exporting and Importing Networking Configuration

If you have the vSwitch already setup, this tool will dupe the Portgroups including vlan id... which can be very useful if you have a whole bunch of portgroups.

I would use scripting, setting this up via the commandline isn't that difficult.

just look into the esxcfg- commands.
