One of our customers got navision installed on a Windows 2000 Server on an ESX Server 3.0.1, running perfectly, absolutely no performance problems although navision is not that smoothly programmed concerning database traffic.

The machine is a fujitsu-siemens rx300 with quad-core cpu and 16gb of ram.

I even did not experience any kind of performance problems when navision was running on a vmware server back in the days, so feel free to try it yourself, we did not encounter any performance issues.
