While the pdf's are nice to be able to download. Will we be able to download the recorded sessions? Right now we can only view them online. I did not see a way to save them and play them back later.

Does VMWare plane on ever sending out DVD's with sessions and slides on them similiar to what TechEd does?

The web page has been cleaned up. The password is no longer available in the html.

So you'll just have to wait as VMware will post these for general consumption at some point.

The password is not a problem. I have the password since I am a registered atendee. The problem is that is that the session are view only swf file. It woudl be great if they could at least be saved for offline viewing.

For the cost of the conference I really expected that we would at least be able to download and save them. Sending out the content on DVD's would be great as well.

Not sure if the answer to this is clear. The slides used on Thursday's general session were the best I've seen to help explain virtualisation. Will they be made available in .ppt format and if so, when and where will I find them?

We now have the pdf's, the mp3's and will be posting them. The requests for .ppt's has been made and I'm looking into it. It's a question of having the permission to post them, we have to find out if we need express permission from session owners.

I would like to post them all, and will let everyone know when I get an answer.

Let me add to my list.. the swf files would be nice as well. Not sure about them though since you can always come watch them from the site. =)

I like the idea about being able to get everything on some type of dvd that would include the video's, pdf's as well as any other class or presentation material. If that can not be done it would be nice to be able to just download maybe entire sections at once so that we can sort through them as we use them. There was alot of information and only so many notes could be taken from the sessions. Just some suggestions to make it easier for all of us who want the information.

I ditto the notion. It would be great to have DVD available. I understand why PPT might be too sensitive (easy to copy and paste slide components) but other format would be great.
