VmWARE ESX Server 3.5 is free to use ?


Hi all,

My one of friend has ESX server 3.5 ,when i had discussed with him regarding 3.5, he replied that, it is free to use.

Can any one use it in productiong environment?

Hi Ashish,


VMware ESX 3.5 is not free to use. It comes with a 60 day trial which you can use. ESXi is the version that is free. Maybe your friend was refering to that?
