Re: Using Veeam to control replication jobs
Rob,
Veeam Replication uses the same technology as FastSCP for host to host data transfer. The data is transferred directly between the hosts. Are the Service Consoles for the hosts on the same private Interlink?
We have a customer who is currently architecting a site replication scenario with Veeam Replication because the replica data does only transfer from host to host, allowing you to manage 1 Veeam Backup server centrally. Their scenario is to replicate the VM's from shared storage to local storage across the hosts, effectively protecting them from a SAN failure at the remote site.
Thanks,

Dear Rob,
Please don't treat this post as a delayed reply, but rather an optional follow-up.
I think this could be interesting for you to read: http://www.veeam.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1233
You can always create as many routing rules in ESX with priority metric for custom networking as you would normally do on any other host.
Don't hesitate following up either at Veeam's forum or here, we'll be glad to support you.
Cheers,
Arseny.
