Unfortunately, we had a backup tape in the drive from the night before, and lost 24 hours of production data.
It was a the worst feeling, and took us a full 18 additional hours with a staff of 10 people to regenerate the data lost.
The first time I built a killer custom all-plexiglass computer case modded out tower I had swapped
out all the parts, added a dozen fans with multicolor LED's and scoops and all this cool stuff,
rebuilt a fresh install of Windows on C:\ and after ALL that finally booted up with the D: data drive
connected. Then I realized I hadn't powered up the neons. When I touched the power connector to
the neon it blew the data drive up. Bummer.
