Looking goward to see ya there!

Can't wait to see some great photos from everyone!
Please share them with the community on our VMworld 2009 Photo Wall.
We will actually be running an online contest for best photo(s), video(s), blog(s) and overall conference contribution. So photo postings will be in the running...stay tuned as we will post the official contest information and prizes in the VMworld 2009 Networking section.
cheers,
~Tony
Rent a bike at the Wharf and bike it up to the Golden Gate for some sweet pics. Sunrise is around 6:45am, sunset is around 7:45pm. I'm looking to do this trip at some point if anyone wants to try and coordinate.

I shoot a canon 50D. Some of the places I would like to shoot.
Fort Point, Would like to try either a sunrise or sunset shoot, I think sunset would be better than sunrise since the sun set in the west, but I really don't know. I would also like the get this one at night.
Twin Peeks -- looking to do this one at night.
Vallejo Street Garage -- looking to do this at night.
I am not renting a car for this trip. I am planning to buy a 7 day MUNI pass for $24.00 it is good for the busses and cable cars. Not the BART. I am arriving Sunday after noon. and would like to try some on the night shoots on Sunday.
Let me know if anyone is insterested.

Hey all,
I'm a SoCal based photog and will be out with my Nikon D300. I'm definitely interested in a meetup to shoot. I'm heavy into Twitter and have posted something about a potential meetup on the Saturday after the conference. We're going to hit Mission Street but if there are other photo walks planned I would definitely enjoy shooting.
You can find me on Twitter here: http://twitter.com/whoisariston follow me and shoot me a DM if you're planning to shoot.
And my blog: http://www.aristoncollanderphotography.com
Looking forward to meeting some folk there!
I will also be shooting throughout the week. I want to get to the GG bridge one evening and possibly one morning. Other than that, I just plan to explore. I will be arriving Sunday afternoon as well.
Hi everydboy
i'll be ther with my d300 24-70 f/2.8 ![]()
Here some of my works : www.lifeislove.eu
I plan also to take a taxi ans ask him to take me to the best poit of view for night shooting of SFO
I don't know if i can wait monday lol
PS : seems we'll have lots of big camera during the vmworld
On Sunday the sunset is at 7:42 PM. If anyone would like to meet at the Seasons Bar and Lounge A bar on Market Street two blocks from the Moscone Center we can split a cab or take the Public Transportation to Fort Point for Sunset and Night time shoots of the Golden gate Bridge. I would suggest that we meet at 6:00 PM at the bar.
Any up for this?
Sounds good to me!
That works for me too! I'm flying in around 10:30am to get settled into the King George hotel before venturing out. I won't have a car either so I'm trying to figure out the best method for transportation other than a taxi. Either way I think it would be great to meet a bunch of other photogs!
If there is tstill room I would like to tag along. I am traveling light this time and just brining a canon G10 and not my DLSR this time.

I say the more the better! It'll all come down to transportation to get there. If you've got a car I recommend setting up a car pool! ![]()
This is going to be great! Too bad we won't have our VMWorld badges yet so we can actually have names...
I agree, the more the better! I do not have a car either. I was planning on getting a MNUI pass for the week (public transportation), I will check out the route today for times to get there. I was also thinking that if we have more than 1 cab worth of people mabe we can see about a van cab split the cost of course. SInce more people may show up do you think we should meet a half hour earler?
