Please check the exiting disk setting on that VM which you are trying to add RAW mapping device, click the existing virtual Hard Disk on right side in MODE optione. Please make sure none of options under MODE should be select.

You may need to shutdown your VM to do that, once you deslect those then try to map the RAW device.
