I am wondering the same thing. Thanks!
I sent an email to vmworld got this answer back in two minutes:
"Please note that the content catalog will be going live on June 16 and you will be able to see the sessions and tracks being offered at VMworld 2009. The personal scheduler will be going live on July 30 and you will be able to then register for all classes. "
They have a great support team.
Thanks for the info!
This will be my first time and am wondering if you have to pre-register for the breakout sessions or just for the labs. Or just the instructor led labs or what?
Yes - pre register for all the break-out sessions prior to arrival, this will guarntee a spot within the session. If you aren't registered for a particular session, you will have to stand in the non-registered line. Sometimes, these can be no problem, other times they can be around the block.
Labs especially - the good labs will fill up extremely fast, so make sure you register for all you can.... it's nearly impossible to get into a lab and be on a PC if you aren't registered for that particular lab.
Also - if you're in a session, and you don't like it - or think it's not for you - just leave - head out and find another one that is at the same time - - with so many sessions, you're bound to find something that interests you.
