What VMware products do you use? VMware workstation or Server 2.0? You have several options to make the network connected using neither bridge, NAT, hosted or custom vmxnet1-8. Make sure you have valid TCP/IP settings for your guest machines and the network card is connected by chance.
I would edit vmxnet8 or something and specify IP address for 192.168.10.x same to your guest. You can have multiple network adapter for your guests too. many networks as you like.
hope it helps.

Hi,
First of all thanks for ur reply
I am using VMware Workstation.
I am using Host only networking option. Also I have assigned static TCP/IP for the Both host and guest.
Still i 've the same problem.
Also let me kno, how to use to use Bridge or NAT (pls note that my PC is standalone and it is not connected to any network)

Ganesh
