number of CPUs

When determining the number of CPUs, do I count the cores such as Dual or Quad core which show up in the task manager as 2 or 4 processors or the physical number of CPUs.

Re: number of CPUs

With vSphere you've got to count the number of phisycal packages, with a limit of core's per cpu. You can find info's here:

Re: number of CPUs

Hi,

The CPU cores are counted by the amount that is physical. No matter if you are dual or quad core.
