I have a problem while performing P2V on the ESX 3.5 environment.

While migrating a W2K server the P2V process fails consecutively @ 2%

with the below error

*"Taskfailed: P2VError UNKNOWN_METHOD_FAULT(sysimage.fault.PlatformError)"*

Following are the options we tried to make it successful but could not suceed.  

1)Tried to migrate it to different host

2)Tried to migrate it to different datastore

3)Tried to use different credentials

4)Installed Vmware convertor locally on the physical server but no luck

5)Tried to migrate individual disk e.g. C: drive only, no luck

6)Run the chkdsk

7)Rebooted server multiple times as needed

8)       We used ESX IP address instead host name also during migration (From physical Server)

ctually its a hot cloning which we are trying to do.  Also the respective LUN has enough space to accomodate this VM.

Below i have attached the coverter log which i could collect during this issue.

Also wherever software mirroring is in place, we break the mirror before performing the P2V.

Can anyone get back to us what could be the issue?
