Is your VMworld Europe shirt still intact?

This weekend my VMworld Europe 2009 shirt was destroyed by the washing machine and I wrote a blog post (http://www.vmguru.nl/wordpress/2009/03/frame-the-vmworld-europe-shirt/) on it to warn others to be very care ful with this precious shirt. Unfortunately today two collegues told me my warning came too late. Their shirts were also destroyed

So is your shirt still intact? Frame it or wear it and never wash it ........

One of my colleages reports that his is already  gone, totally destroyed by washing. I think VMWare blew it on this one. Two other colleagues haven't reported on theirs yet, but I forwarned them. Not sure if you can consider a shirt that can't be washed precious.

Otherwise the conference was well done.

Re: Is your VMworld Europe shirt still intact?

My colleague and I washed the t-shirt (personnally I washed it using a special program for first-time washing), but both were destroyed in the process... colour disappearing...

I guess it was a manufacturing problem, as when I opened the package, there was a strong petrol smell...

Hopefully, they are better with virtual things than t-shirts

Indeed, the t-shirts are not any good at all. Wear only without washing

Someone post a picture of the result after a wash!

I would like to make sure this gets back to the vendor.

Thanks

Same here, the shirt was destroyed in the washing machine. Flakes of printing colour all over the place. My wife was not amused

Yep, son wore it once, washed, bits of polymer from the prints on the shirt all over the washing and later the floor as it dried out...

Advice, ware the T Shirt until it can stand up on it's own then throw, at least you will get more use out of it than my son

Must be the water in the Low Countries, I guess. Mine is completely gone, too. Even the creases look to be in the same spot. Scary

Re: Is your VMworld Europe shirt still intact?

the story continues....

.....the latest is, VMWare is still sending these shirts out as a promotion in exchange for filling out a conference survey solicited by email. Another one of these shirts arrived today in a package sent from the Netherlands. Co-workers immediately reacted to the same petrol smell.
