fluid Operations started the public Beta campaign for its new product "eCloudManager - Storage Edition".

With eCloudManager, storage hardware (like NetApp filers) and virtualized server infrastructure (like VMware) can be managed together from a single, multifeatured console.

Virtual machine provisioning and cloning now use the storage's enhanced features instead of lengthy copy operations. With this advantage, enterprise systems, like e.g. SAP ERP, can be made available in an enterprise cloud ("eCloud").

Additionally, eCloudManager also fully integrates into the VMware Virtual Infrastructure management console.

fluid Operations focuses on solving today's complex cloud computing challenges with truly innovative technologies.

Together with SAP, fluidOps deployed a large computing infrastructure based on virtualization technology from VMware and storage technology from NetApp. The project proves that enterprise applications like SAP R/3 can be deployed on demand in an enterprise compute cloud.
