How to Communicate with the Host & Guest machine in a Standalone Machine

 

Hi,

 

 

I am working on a standalone machine(Windows XP). I have created a VM guest of XP also with 2003. Is it possible to communicate (to Share files) between the Host & Guest. The Host machine is not conneced with any network (Internet/Intranet/LAN). Pls let me know how to do this.

Hi Ganesh,

 

 

Yes, it's possible. If you're talking VMware Server, then you will do via normal Windows file sharing...so you need some type of networking between the Host and Guest.

I am able to share files now either by darg & drop or By defining a shared folder under vm options.
