VMwareworld Europe Cannes Question


Dear all,


I have never visited a VMware conference before so I have one question. The three days of VMware Europe in Cannes are they all different or every day is the same? If I will attend and book for multiple days and eventually the days will be the same then it will be a waste of money spend at the hotels...

Hi Jeroen,

Each day is completely different and the full agenda is spread over the three days (although some of the most popular sessions are repeated).

I recommend all three days for maximum benefit. There will certainly be more than enough content.

I completely agree with Tommy. I've been to three VMWorld conferences (2006 --> 2008) and definitely recommend all three days of conference attendance. I normally leave on Thursday evening though (but I also get in Sunday or Monday morning).

All three day are idd totaly different. One tip!

Plan a day before and after the event and take your time to travel.


Last year we flew monday morning, missing out on half of the Partner Day, and our flight back was at 17:00 so we had to leave Cannes at 14:00 at Thursday so we also missed most of Thursday afternoon. Bad planning!


This years we learned from this so we arrive Sunday evening and leave Friday afternoon so we can enjoy as much of VMworld Europe 2009 as we can.
