Virtualizing SQL

Hi,

 

 

 

 

 

I would like to know if there is a document out there that describes how to P2V and SQL server? The issue I am having is that after brining up the cloned SQL box, the user accounts (built in and others) no longer have access to the db.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Any suggestions?

Are they 'orphaned ' accounts?

 

 

I suggest maybe detaching the DB from original Physical Server and then reattach the DB in the VMware SQL server.
