Is there some sort of request procedure if we were looking for a special diet meal at VMW2k8? I would be specificly looking for vegan (not kosher or halal as you had mentioned).

Well the event came and gone, I can happily say that after the Tuesday Breakfast and Lunch at VMworld in Las Vegas, I never ever went back. The food at Lunch was OK but Breakfast was horrible. I was told that this years food was better than last years and all I can say is, wow, I am sorry.

I attend VMworld in Boston a little while back and for some reason their food was much better. Actually the event was ran much better.

Wow, really?!?

The food was 1000x better than S.F. (Which makes me worry about next year). I thought both meals were good. The lunches could leave a little to be desired, but if you didn't like what they had for the buffet, you could always pick up a boxed cold sandwich.

Kudos to VMware for fixing the food issue from last year.

Hopefully next year won't be mass chaos at Moscone with horrible food you eat outside (like 2007).
