*Download Presentations Online* VMworld 2008 presentations will be available to download the weekend before the event using the {color:#009ddc}Schedule Builder{color} tool. Avoid the rush—be sure to download your session presentations in advance.

You can dowload them in Schedule Builder.. I haven't done it, but am told there is links in there to the slides.  After the conference they will be put up on vmworld.com->sessions

Someone is going to get into trouble!

Re: Where are the presentation downloads?

I was told these would be available on-line a week ago, but the website now states that they will be posted by the end of the month.  Frustrating isn't it??

So, I posted the presentation that I gave on Advanced Performance Tuning on VI3 at the link below.  It contains the Notes section with my script and links / references.  enjoy:

You can however download John's "Performance Tuning of VI3 " slides from VMworld06 which is now free to all vmworld.com members at the following link:

To see  all free performance tuning presentations use the following search:

Re: Where are the presentation downloads?

Hi John,

We have been pretty up front that the presentations will be available on VMworld.com to all registered users of the conference within 2 weeks of the conference ending.  We have also been very clear to all conferenece attendees that all presentations are available in schedule builder and that schedule builder will stay online until we have the streaming sessions available to conference members on VMworld.com

We will also be posting the pdf's and mp3's of all the sessions on VMworld.com for those who attended the show. In mid-october we will also offer a online membership for those people who didn't attend the show, but would like to view show content.

What we are not doing is posting sessions in the public domain,  VMworld sessions and related material  is considered  conference material and is reserved  for conference members who have paid to attend the conference.

Thanks

Eric Nielsen

Re: Where are the presentation downloads?

I have yet to find them in schedule builder.  VMWare keeps saying that but no one can find them that I know of.  Anyone at VMWare care to post a link so I can see that I am looking in the wrong place?

Re: Where are the presentation downloads?

As required, I removed the posting of my the Performance Tuning presentation.

I will keep an eye out for the presentations on VMworld.com.  I expect we will see a clear link or notification on front page.  I expect that the presentations may include audio, so it should be good!

I must have gotten bad info just prior to giving my presentation.  I was told I could tell the audience that the presentation would be available for download the very next day.  sorry about that.
