At the opening remarks session Patrick Lin mentioned that these will be available in a week on a secure server.
This sucks! Would be nice to have then now.
I also seem to recall that email... But neither can I find anything yet. Would've been nice to have it now, not later.

9th Sept 2008 - VMworld 2008 News Flash #3
"Download Presentations Online
VMworld 2008 presentations will be available to download the weekend before the event using the Schedule Builder tool. Avoid the rush-be sure to download your session presentations in advance.
To get your hands on conference presentations after the event is over just go online. All conference session presentations will be available at the end of September. Look for an email after the event with the specifics, or check http://app.connect.vmware.com/e/er.aspx?s=524&lid=3605&elq=2FF77AFDEB6B441D8EC45A2B8546D460 for more details."
but nothing there alas :O(
I thought so too, but now I checked closer. Some of them actually do have downloadable PDF:s (it's the little broken icon in the actual session list, it can't be accessed from the session description?).
Anyways, I'll be waiting for the rest of the sessions to show up

This is crap the event is almost over and i still cant get any of the presentations, you can't even seem to get into agenda builder anymore to see if there are PDF links.
Come on VMware get your ass in gear.
OK, found em, as per previous hint in this chat
Go to schedule builder and select session catalog
Next to session id is a colum called session files with a cross image in there (as clearly it is not loading/finiding some icon graphic it needs)
Click on the cross icon (if there is one there it means there is a preso for the session, if not then it is not posted yet)
You can then download the pdf (and ppt if it exisits)
Wish they would make it easier though.....

Has anyone heard if the presentations will be ever be provided with audio?
They should be. Check out the vmworld2007 presentation area. I think audio or at least final presentations online is the "end of September" that I kept hearing.
