Hi Guys

We have vmware esx 3.5 update 1 and virtual center 2.5 configured with HA /DRS

we have 2 ESX hosts for HA and 2 Virtual Machines configured with Rhel AS 4 U 5 we noticed memory usage is alawys high on vms .

When i check the load on the server not many applications are running bare os is running

Our Virtual machine 2 Processors with 4 gb of ram configured

Host DL 380 G5 with quad core 2 processors and 32 GB of ram

Vmware suggest us to reduce the memory to 3.6 gb .

Pls give me ur valuable adivce and help
