End of day 1 here at VMWorld - not much on Monday except Labs (and they were all full) and the welcome reception.  Can never have too much free beer.  Overall still a good day even without getting into any labs - picked up the Advanced Techincal Design Guide at 20% off, and toured the solutions exchange for a bit during the welcome thingy.  Crowds weren't too bad - better than last year - though IMHO the quality of the bag/backpack this year is a little low.
