VMworld 2008 - Caribbean attendees?

Anyone from the english speaking caribbean going. More importantly, someone who has been to Vegas and knows their way around? Any West Indian restaurants or clubs in Vegas?

Not from the islands here, but would love if we can find a bashment party. Run Jungle has reggae nights Sunday, but it's probably more rockers type music. I'd be interested in some dancehall.

As far as food, looks like we don't have a lot of choices. http://eatjamaican.com/nevada.html list a few. I would probably try 1 of those. Bahama Breeze is a chain, and it's not really West Indian food. They're more American food than anything to me.

By the way, I'm Chinese raised in NYC, so I have a lot of friends from the Caribbean. My wife is Bajan.

=).  My wife is from Jamaica, and her family goes to Vegas all the time to gamble. I will ask them what they life. They are from Miami and run the Jamaican Kitchen on Sunset Blvd.

Now if you ever get to Miami, you have to try their Jerk pork, the Jamaican Kitchen has really good food.  They show cased the place on food network this month.  Of course it's run by Jamaican's so of course.
