By next week you will be able to see everyone that is on a map, and there will be an individual chatroom on each page.  Each section will be a place to talk about things relevant to which booth you are in. So you will be able to stop by the Dell booth and chat to the dell guys, or other Dell fans. You can broadcast to all rooms by using the /b message, right now it just broadcasts to the global conference group. (Example: /b my message)

The challenge game will allow you to chat and brag to others who are playing with you.

Logically then, the bar is a place to socialize and talk about all kinds of things.  We then have a drinks booth so you can read about some of the more popular VMworld drinks.  If you know your VMworld history, there have been unofficial VMworld (year) drinks.  I will try to post some of them once I look them up.

Of course, others can post their favorite drinks.
