VMs Crashing after Backup

When ESX 3.0 came out I decided to relocate my VMs from the internal hard drives on the ESX server to a shared NAS directory.  The reason for this was to be able to use Veritas Backup Exec to backup up those VMs.

The VMs run fine while on the NAS but I have noticed one thing.  For some reason after a backup, full, some of the VMs will crash and will then come back stating that a system disk could not be found.  The only way around that is to reset the VMs.  Then they will boot up normally.

If anybody out there had the same problem but has a fix I would like to hear from you.

thanks, Mike
