VMWorld in Las Vegas: Sept 15-how many sessions?

I have a question about VMWorld that is coming in September to Las Vegas.

If I am planning travel dates, should I expect to travel on Sept.15 - that is, are there sessions on that day or just an evening keynote?

Similarly, about what time should I expect them to "wrap up" on Sept. 18?

Thanks for any help. This will be my first VMWorld.

Hi,

The reception is on the evening of the 15th...  which I believe is open to all registrants, it will be held in the vendor area.  I think that is really the first  event for all registrants.  There are other things on the 15th, but they focus on partners, OEMs and other vendors.  The keynote by Dianne Greene on Tuesday the 16th is the really the kickoff of the  general sessions.

They had lab sessions available on the Monday prior last year, not sure if they are going to do that this year or not.
