vmfkstools

Does anyone have documentation on vmfkstools?  I am unable to find it in VM's documentation.

Thanks

Re: vmfkstools

Here's a good doc that includes how to use VMKFSTOOLS. http://www.rtfm-ed.eu/docs/vmwdocs/esx3.x-vc2.x-serviceconsole-guide.pdf

Re: vmfkstools

The docs for this are in the Server Configuration Guide in the Appendix at the end. You can also check out my website as someone else pointed out for lots of tips and links...

Re: vmfkstools

You can access it online at:

http://pubs.vmware.com/vi35/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm

Do a search for vmkfstools and click on the link on the left hand side for "File System Options".  A number of examples are below that.

You should be able to get 98% of what you need from the CLI by simply typing vmkfstools and hitting enter.  The on screen help is just about everything you really need.
