Rethat ES 3 converted over into ESX

 

Has anybody converted a Linux redhat (ES 3) physical machine into a virtual machine? I have tried using converter enterprise (Boot ISO Disk) which gave me arrors the first 2 times that i tried it. then for some reason, the 3rd time was successful. I should say that during the converter configuration i gave me a message saying that "cannot customize machine"

 

 

Once i try to run it inside ESX it would not boot completely...

You may want to take a look at http://www.vmwiz.com/ - I've done this process before and it worked for me. Where it tells you to modify the modules.conf - on some of my linux systems it was modprobe.conf instead.
