Low FPS

I've got a Mac Book Pro, 2.2ghz with 2gb RAM, and am running OS X 10.4 with windows XP pro under VMWare. The only reason I use XP is to play games on, but I get consistantly low FPS on it (5 or 6 so totally unplayable). I've played demos of the ports for mac, and those have run perfectly, which leads me to think it's a graphics driver issue. I've tried changing the configurations to lock the mouse to the VM to improve performance, but it made no difference. Trying to install new drivers on the windows VM also fails (I assume because the VM only models the graphics card, without allowing direct access like boot camp would) .

Any suggestions on how I could imrpove ingame performance?

Re: Low FPS

Rich,

Try posting this question on the internal VMware forums for VMTN,  you can post this at:

       http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/desktop/fusion

I know that the VMware developers from Fusion hangout on that forum and answer questions.
