Wow, That was fast! Thanks!
Thanks! I've been looking foreward to the labs that I missed since we were limited to only 2 during the conference
Can I get a link to the labs please. I tried http://www.eventreg.com/vmworld07/cc and I dont see the attachments for the labs there. Thanks in advance.
The lab sessions are in the session zone on this site.

The link provide does not appear to work.
Sorry extra .com in there.. I fixe it.
How good are these!!, I attended 5 labs at VMworld and now I can complete the ones I missed.
Thanks heaps
Will lab pdf's be made avilable to those of us who were unable to attend VMWorld?
At the moment, only those who attended VMworld can get at the lab content. The manager responsible for producing the labs would like to see them all go public right away and is in the process of getting approval for that. I would also like to see that happen... we are currently working with VMware to see if that can happen.
I know the intention is over the next 3-6 months to move all the content into the public model, I just don't know yet when each part will go public.
Eric
That's knind of too bad. We are in the process of completely re-evaluating our VI3 environment and being able to view these sessions would have been a great help.
I agree,
Sorry you missed VMworld.. it was a great show.. lots of valuable resources for sure.
I will let you know when resources go public, maybe the laps will go soon (this week).
Eric
Hi Eric,
I'm unable to find LAB12, 13, 14, 15. While standing in line for an hour during the show, I was told from the staff that if I just wanted the lab-guides I would be able to download them after the show.

How about a rational explanation of why it is taking so long to make all the material public??
(Aside from the difficulties with the VMTN forums site.)
The VMworld people got the information first, this is a good example of VMware shooting itself in the foot by not sharing information with people, many people will just go to the nearest competitor who does share information (and doesn't charge $5,000 for the management console).
Thank you, Tom
I have to agree with Tom. If the material has been made available to VMworld attendees what's stopping it from going public?
I would have loved to attend VMworld but because of my location (Canada) air fare alone would cost $2000 per person. Once you add the cost of registration and a couple of hotel rooms, you're looking at a $10,000, 3 day seminar. Kind of hard to justify for some organizations.
Having to wait 3 to 6 months for the material to go public isn't sutiable. By the time it is released, it will be either outdated or potiential customers will have moved funding on to other products and projects.
