Session Abstract: | This is an update to last years’ popular session with updated content for vSphere and the latest operating systems. Within this session the VMware administrator that wears many hats in small to medium-sized organizations will be provided with specific strategies and tools that are applicable in these sized environments. Tips and Tricks will be covered for configuring hosts, vCenter design, creating and managing templates, optimizing storage performance, using PowerShell and Perl to get important information, automate repetitive tasks and much more. In addition, a library of valuable resources of practical hands-on information is provided to the administrator in these environments to supplement the core topics covered during the session. These are all items that are used and done in current production environments of NWN customers. This session is by administrators for administrators, looking for solid practical information to enable them to use their time as efficiently as possible. |
