Session Abstract: | There are many vendor whitepapers on 10Gb.This session is focused on reviewing real-world design considerations for 10Gb vSphere environments. We will cover hardware, design, cost, and ease of management. Key items covered are HP Flex10, Cisco UCS, inbound/outbound traffic management, fault-tolerance, FCoE, throttling vs QOS, design concerns – what to look out for when designing with what you have available. We will have 3 key scenarios and detailed recommendations for each – HP Flex10, Cisco UCS, and standard 10Gb cards. |
