Session Abstract: | The advent of cloud computing forces IT organizations to rethink how they manage and deliver services. Progressive IT organizations become like service providers, striving to accelerate service delivery while maintaining control and compliance. This sounds great in theory but the key question is: What can you do today to better manage your growing virtual infrastructure in order to deliver better services and cut costs? In this panel session, three VMware customers will present their approach to virtualization management, discuss what tools and processes they’ve implemented, and share some of the results they’re seeing in their own organizations. Finally, we’ll review best practices discovered along the way and talk about how to overcome potential pitfalls towards better managed virtualized environments. |
