Session Abstract: | This Lab is designed to familiarize students with VMware vSphere™ Virtual Networking and the new features introduced in VMware vSphere™ 4.1. The lab will lead the student through the creation and configuration of a vNetwork Distributed Switch. The new features Network IO Control and Load Based Teaming will be demonstrated. The lab will also cover the installation and initial configuration of the of the Cisco VSM (Virtual Supervisor Module); connecting the VSM to VMware vCenter™ Server; configuring uplinks and port profiles; plus some additional configuration tasks that highlight the attributes of the Nexus 1000V. |
