vSphere Orchestration for SAP's Demo Business

SAP's demo business is a fast changing landscape of different versions of various SAP products to be presented to their customers quickly and reliably. Demos need to be provisioned quickly, customized, shown to the customer and frequently decommissioned with a lifecycle of days maybe weeks for the VM's.
SAP's Managed Services group together with VMware professional services developed a customized auto provisioning process based on a SAP frontend and VMware's Lifecycle Manager (LCM) backend.
We'll show the process from provisioning VM's manually to the fully automated provisioning process using LCM Customized. We will also talk about how to plan and run a LCM-customized project including lessons learned.
