Virtualization introduces a new capacity management paradigm in your datacenter. Anytime there is shared resources, you have to plan, coordinate and reserve capacity in advance in order to avoid contentions, inefficiencies or shortfalls.
In this session, VMware product management and marketing will provide recommendations and best practices to optimizing your VMware virtual infrastructure capacity-- how to identify and reclaim unused capacity and also predict your future capacity needs. We will demo new technologies that will dramatically simplify capacity management in a virtualized environment.
