Session Abstract: | The IBM System x3850 M2 server and VMware vSphere 4.0 can tackle the most demanding workloads, including on-line transaction processing with SAP in a virtualized environment. In this session we will present SAP performance and scalability data for both scale-up scenarios (increasing Virtual CPU count) and scale-out scenarios (adding additional Virtual Machines). Along the way, we will detail tuning and optimization best practices for SAP implementation on IBM x3850 M2 in a vSphere environment. |
