The purpose-built zero-client Pano Device from Pano Logic - providing access to a virtual desktop with no local software, OS, drivers, or even firmware. The Pano Device provides a wide range of ports for connections to local keyboard, mouse, VGA display, audio in and out, AC power adapter, and supported USB peripherals such as local hard disk and flash memory storage, USB hubs, printers and scanners, biometric authentication, optical drives, etc.  These ports are connected, via the Pano Direct Protocol, over the LAN to native Windows drivers running in the virtualized desktop OS on a VMware ESX or ESXi server in the datacenter.
