Session Abstract:

The presentations begins with an overview of the current datacentre challenges and a short explaination of what The Green Grid do. The real focus is on metrics, discussing their importance and giving an overview of current standards such as PUE and DCiE. It then moves on to discuss Data Center Productivity (DCP) which is a new metric that is currently being developed and how this moves on from the current standards. To complete the presentation it will explain the Productivity Indicator: what it is and how companies can use it to help them with their data center energy efficiency.
