Session Abstract: | Accenture has for their internal application hosting several data centers in all main regions encompassing ~2500 of servers. In 2006 Accenture embarked on a major initiative to optimize its growing data center and server footprint using virtualization. With Accenture's Next Generation Data Center reference architecture as a blueprint, Accenture has completed phase one of its virtualization capability build-out and application migrations of its internal IT Organization. Accenture is embarking on the next phase of global deployment of virtualization to encompass production environments of business critical applications. |
