Session Abstract: | ESX Server 3.5 introduces greater flexibility, more features, and several performance improvements over the previous release. This talk covers best practices for the most performance-critical components of ESX Server, as well as tuning tips for the latest performance features and improvements. ESX 3.5 includes new performance features like NUMA-related optimizations, improvements for networking like support for TSO and jumbo frames, enhanced statistics with esxtop, and others. This talk is intended for anyone who has some familiarity with ESX and wants to make their systems perform even better by tuning the system to meet specific requirements. |
