Speaker 1: | Orestes Melgarejo is the Director of Product Management for Citrix XenApp. He leads a team responsible for product, roadmap and release strategy for XenApp and for ensuring the success of the end-to-end Platinum edition. His team is also responsible for gathering requirements from multiple sources including Citrix customers and partners and for finding the right technologies with which to augment and grow the overall application delivery solution. Orestes has been with Citrix for 8 years in various capacities within Product Management. |
Speaker 2: | Brandon Meyer is a Team Lead for the Enterprise Windows Systems Engineers. His team is responsible for all enterprise WindowsStorageVirtualization systems for one of the largest printing companies in the world. His team is responsible for implementing and managing Storage, virtualization and Windows technologies. Brandon's team manages over 40 ESX hosts and over 400 virtual machines, most in a production environment. Quebecor's Citrix farm consists of over 60 Citrix servers, all of which are virtualized on VMware ESX 3.5. Brandon has 7 years of IT experience, 6 of them with Citrix and 3 of them with VMware. |
