Paul has more than a decade of experience in the data center and networking space combining end user, system engineering and product management roles. With a strong customer focus, Paul is passionate about creating a great experience for the data center administrator. |
Speaker 2: | Dan Hersey is a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Cisco Systems with over a decade of rich and varied experience with data center switching technologies. Dan joined Cisco in 2003 as part of the acquisition of Andiamo Systems, which developed the MDS 9000 family of switches and directors. Currently Dan specializes in the design of networking solutions for hypervisor environments with a focus on providing flexible solutions for server mobility. |
Speaker 3: | Omar Sultan is the Solution Manager for Data Center Switching for the Data Center Solutions team in Cisco Systems Central Marketing Organization. Omar has been at Cisco Systems since 1999 and his current responsibilities focus on marketing and positioning of the Cisco data center switching portfolio. Omar has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry working for a number of Fortune 500 companies and also owned his own strategic IT consultancy. Prior to joining Cisco, Omar developed a broad range of experience including data center management, network operations, system engineering, field sales, and business systems analysis. Omar has also been an active CCIE since 1994 (CCIE # 1284). |
