Session Abstract: | If you are fairly new to Linux and want to run your machines in a VMware environment, this session is one you can't miss. You will learn how to build templates on Virtual Infrastructure 3 to easily and rapidly deploy Linux machines. Also, different ways of performing physical to virtual conversions of Linux machines will be discussed. And last but not least many practical tips on using Linux in a VMware environment will be presented in this session. The Linux distributions used in the sessions are mainly SUSE Linux and RedHat, but the processes and tips described will work for many other distributions. |
