Speaker 1: | Cris Banson is a Technical Alliance Manager working with VMware's storage partners. He is responsible for driving the technical and business aspects of the joint solutions and offerings with regards to the VMware Virtual Infrastructure vision. Prior to joining VMware, he worked for EMC in various technical roles focused on both FC and IP storage, and management. He also has a strong background in enterprise data network design. He has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering. |
Speaker 2: | Lucas Nguyen is a Technical Alliance Manager for storage partners at VMware, Inc. He has more than 12 years of experience in SAN quality assurance, performance analysis, and systems engineering. Lucas has designed, deployed, and tested large SAN fabrics at Brocade. He received an award from Adaptec for his benchmark analysis of microprocessor vs. state machine implementation in FibreChannel HBAs. Lucas has also held technical positions at Legato & Sony. He holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering and a master's degree in Software Engineering from SJSU and National University, respectively. |
