Session Abstract: | This session briefly explains the inner workings of VCB. It will detail the requirements to properly install VCB and integrate it with backup software. We will use Symantec NetBackup and Vizioncore vRangerPro in the discussion, but the concepts apply to all supported backup software. Finally, we will go through a sizing and backup timing exercise that was conducted at a large international bank, who currently has about 1500 VMs worldwide. Best practices and troubleshooting will also be discussed. |
